SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - It’s the unofficial end to the summer.

Friday marked the final ‘Fridays by the Fountain’ in South Bend.

‘Big Daddy’s Dupree’s broke’ alongside ‘Hungry Blues Band’ handled the occasion at Seitz Park.

There were dozens of people enjoying the music and perfect weather.

This is the fifth time the event has been held at Seitz Park since reopening.

Dozens of people came out to enjoy the Michiana summer staple.

Debbie Rist and Randy Simmons attended the concert.

“I think it’s great. They did a lot of work here,” said Rist.

“It took em a long time. But it was worth it,” said Simmons.

Rist said it was a great location to hold the concert.

“It’s nice and peaceful and it’s down here by the river and it’s a great location. And this band is awesome,” said Rist.
