WINCHESTER, Ind. — Police called out to the home of Larry Planck III in April 2023 found Isabel Hernandez shot dead on his front lawn.

Family claimed Hernandez was pregnant with Planck's child. Planck tried to claim self-defense. He ended up being charged with murder, but when it came time to sentence Planck, that charge was eventually downgraded to reckless homicide, a Level 5 felony.

On Friday, Planck was sentenced to 11 years in prison for the death of Hernandez.

But while Planck might have avoided a murder sentence, this isn't the only conviction on Planck's record.

The Winchester man's crimes didn't stop at taking a woman's life. He also ruined the lives of others, in particular an underage girl whom Planck used for sexual gratification and forced to produce child pornography.
