SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Mark your calendar, the 2025 Sioux City CROP Walk is coming up this fall, making an impact on hunger in Siouxland and around the world.

The CROP Walk is held on Sunday, Oct. 19, starting at Grace United Methodist Church on Morningside Avenue.

Last year, participants raised $31,056 and brought in 357 pounds of food, ranking Sioux City’s event 3rd in the state of Iowa and 50 in the country.

The walk helps to raise money to fight hunger, and 25% percent of the money stays here in our community as it is given to the Community Action Agency of Siouxland for their food programs.

In 2024, Sioux City also raised more money than in any of the previous walks since 2013.
