A new daycare and education center is set to open soon in North San Antonio, specializing in hands-on learning.

Alphabetz Montessori is planning to open their second San Antonio location in the “first or second week of September,” Director Maribel Campos told Community Impact .

The center will be situated at 19336 Bulverde Road, near Stone Oak.

Focusing on Montessori-based education methods, the learning center will teach using hands-on, mainly interactive activities, Campos said.

Montessori education is a learning approach that was developed by Dr. Maria Montessori in 1907, according to the American Montessori Society .
