A third North Iowa man has been charged with breaking into Sparboe in Goodell and stealing cooper wire from inside and outside the building.

Kory Sheldon Peterson, 39, Charles City, has been charged in Hancock County District Court with ongoing criminal conduct, a Class B felony; one count of first-degree theft, a Class C felony; one count of first-degree criminal mischief, a Class C felony; and three counts of third-degree burglary, a Class D felony.

According to court documents, Peterson broke into Sparboe on March 27, April 7 and April 14, causing more than $10,000 in damage.

The value of the copper and other goods stolen from the business was more than $10,000.

Peterson is being held on $60,000 cash or surety bond.

His co-defendants are Dustin Dean DeVries, 43, Grafton, and Bret M
