BURTON, S.C. (WSAV) — Two people were displaced in fire Friday, marking the second fire in two days that displaced people in Burton.

Around 3:30 p.m., emergency services responded to a reported camper fire on Shaklin Road. The camper was close to a mobile home, which sustained fire and heat damages to the siding.

The fire appeared to be caused by an electrical issue and wasn't intentional, a Burton Fire spokesperson said.

The two displaced people were reportedly living in the camper while repairing the mobile home.

Wednesday, a fire on Bay Pines Road displaced two other adults. That fire remains under investigation.
