Undrafted rookie Shilo Sanders is in NFL limbo as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers chose not to add him back to the practice squad this week after he was cut on Tuesday.
The safety was ejected from the Buccaneers' final preseason game on Saturday when he threw a punch at Buffalo Bills tight end Zach Davidson.
Following news of the cut, Sanders didn't seem interested in rejoining Tampa Bay via the practice squad, with his agent saying that he hoped the former Colorado Buffaloes standout was claimed on waivers by another team.
Sanders hasn't been signed by any team with a week to go before the start of the regular season.
