A "Workers Over Billionaires" rally is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 1, Labor Day, at Muller Plaza in the city of Oneonta to protest against billionaires' place in government, Trump administration policy and promote the working class, according to organizers.

A number of speakers will address the crowd noon to 1 p.m., including Oneonta Mayor Mark Drnek, Oneonta Job Corps Academy graduate Jaylynn Garelick, Debra Marcus who will speak on immigration, Otsego County Democratic Committee Chair Caitlin Ogden and Virginia Kennedy, group leader of Cooperstown Oneonta Indivisible.
