SPRINGDALE, Ohio —

A portion of Interstate 275 is shut down following a crash in Springdale Friday evening.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the eastbound lanes are closed beyond State Route 747. Alternate routes are advised as crews work to clear the scene. Advertisement

It is unclear what caused the crash.
