SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. — Siloam Springs police have made two arrests after a deadly shooting near an intermediate school on Aug. 29.

A Siloam Springs Police Department (SSPD) spokesperson confirmed to 5NEWS on Friday that officers were working a crime scene after a shooting in the area of Meadow Court.

SSPD said a call reporting the incident was made around 3:20 p.m., and the investigation is active as police search for anyone who may have been involved or witnessed the shooting.

Once on the scene police found a man dead with an apparent gunshot wound.

Later that night SSPD said two suspects had been arrested: 19-year-old Braylon Farris of Fayetteville and an unnamed juvenile male.

Farris, the accused shooter, is facing one count of capital murder. Police said the juvenile is facing one
