LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Scattered storms will remain possible at times over the weekend, though fortunately no day looks like a complete washout.

With a weak front not moving anywhere quickly, we may see some scattered storms re-develop for Saturday morning. Not everyone will see rain, but it will be a good idea to keep the umbrella and the radar handy especially in the morning hours. On the other hand, this could also mean a quicker end to rain in the afternoon but it still will be good to keep an eye to the sky. This includes for any tailgating activities for the McNeese season opener.

Clouds should keep us cooler through the weekend as well with highs staying steady in the middle to upper 80s. A few more isolated to scattered storms may develop at times Sunday, but again rain will
