EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office identified a man found dead with a gunshot wound on Highway 24 in Falcon, as deputies continue to search for a suspect.

The sheriff’s office said they received a report of a three-car crash on Highway 24 near Judge Orr Road on Tuesday, just after 8 a.m.

The reporting party said that the passenger in a white pickup truck towing a black trailer was seriously injured or dead, and the driver of that same truck had left the scene.

The other two vehicles involved stayed on scene and rendered aid, but deputies said that the passenger had died.

On Friday, deputies identified the victim as 29-year-old Noel Gutierrez-Cano. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office said he suffered from at least one gunshot wound.
