What has been a “complicated journey” for many Inland Empire families with children who need specialty health care, will become a lot less so when the new Loma Linda University Children’s Health Specialty Clinics opens.

The five-story, 105,000-square-foot clinic under construction at the corner of Barton Road and Anderson Street will create a “centralized location” in Loma Linda for children’s care, officials say.

The new facility will allow patients “who need care for multiple specialties” to be seen “on the same day in the same location,” Brett Walls, assistant vice president for ambulatory services at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, said by phone Wednesday.

The new clinic, targeted for opening in late-2026, will have 150 exam rooms and will house 20 pediatric specialties,
