BANGOR -- The Husson University Women's Soccer team is back on the field and are preparing to defend their title as North Atlantic Conference champions.

The Eagles return 13 players for last year's squad, including six starters. Head coach Dennis Mullins says blending their current talent with some fresh new faces is going to help propel the Eagles back into contention again this season.

"I'm thrilled with the experience we're bringing back," said Mullins. "We've got a number of starters returning from our championship season. But we're blending in some new, fresh talent. Some first-year players that have come in and have already made an immediate impact."
