KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - Boarded up windows and doors is all that remains of the once full low-income apartment complex owned by the Killeen Housing Authority.
The Killeen Housing Authority Board of Commissioners held its monthly meeting Aug. 29 and discussed the fate of the Moss Rose Apartments at 1103 East Avenue E.
The vacant property is hitting the market.
“The property is going to be sold pretty much as is,” said Bruce Whiteside, Chairman of Kha Board of Commissioners. “It’s just curb-appeal and the boarding up of the windows and everything on the first floor. At least to keep people out of it so nothing else gets damaged while we’re getting it prepared.”
Whoever buys the apartment complex is required to keep them as low-income housing.
