ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) - Summer break is over for Augustana College students.

It was move-in day on Friday.

This year, the school welcomes 783 new first-year, transfer and exchange students from 23 states and 37 countries at its Rock Island campus.

“College is about finding yourself. It’s about sort of figuring out who you are, and what you most value in the world, and what kind of inspires your future,” said Augie president Andrea Talantino. “So they probably won’t have that figured out by the end of the year but they’ll be on that path, and they’ll be starting to see those things that are meaningful to them and the things that really motivate them and start to shape their vision of who they want to be professionally and personally moving forward.”
