PARKER, Colo. (KDVR) — There are concerns among owners of some vape stores in Parker after two smash and grabs at two of the businesses earlier this week.
Those stores were heavily damaged, and a lot of goods were stolen as well.
At the entrance to the Top Shelf Liquors, what used to be a glass door is now a wall of plywood. Having to deal with all this is frustrating, says co-owner Matthew Nord.
“Just a little bit. But the (other) owner of the store? He’s furious. He’s got to handle all the insurance, the cost of the door,” Nord said,
Nord told FOX31 it will cost more than $5,000 to fix the damaged door. That cost does not include the portions of the wall surrounding the door or all the vapes and liquor that were stolen.
