COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department says officers are investigating a shooting that happened on Friday.

According to CPD, the shooting happened in the 1700 block of MLK Blvd, which left one person injured.

It remains unconfirmed what led up to the incident and the current extent of the person's injuries.
