GARRISON, Texas (KTRE) - The Garrison Bulldogs avenged their season-ending loss to Waskom from last season, taking a 39-19 win at home on Thursday.

The game was the rubber match between the two carrying over from 2024, as Garrison won the season opener.

Garrison went up 6-0 with a two-yard touchdown run from Jordan Sheppard.

Waskom tied it at 6 with a Julius Wash touchdown.

But Garrison took the lead when Avery Yarborough bounced off tackles and found open space for a long score.
