A man who was shot Sunday in Little Village has died.

Matthew Rangle was standing in the alley in the 3000 block of South Hamlin Avenue about 12:12 a.m. Sunday when someone opened fire, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Rangle, 26, was shot in the eye and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead Monday, the medical examiner’s office said.

No arrests have been made.
