SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- A member of the Stampede Hockey team is going pro, but as you're about to see, it's not one of the players.
You may not recognize his name, but a lot of you may be familiar with his voice.
Randy Preston has been the public address announcer for the Sioux Falls Stampede for years.
If you remember last year, Preston had to take a break from announcing because he experienced a game-changer: a stroke while driving home from washing his car.
"Started feeling a little weird when I got back in the car. I couldn't use my left arm or my left hand and really just didn't know what was going on. I was very confused," Preston said.
But Preston is back behind the mic and now, thanks to one of his friends, who works for the Detroit Red Wings, he'll get to take his talents
