A man who pleaded guilty to recording women while they used a residential hall bathroom at the University of Colorado Boulder was sentenced Friday to four years of probation and 100 hours of community service.

Colin Adams, 22, pleaded guilty in June to invasion of privacy for sexual gratification, attempted invasion of privacy, and two counts of invasion of privacy. His remaining 56 counts were dismissed as part of a plea deal.

Boulder County District Judge Thomas F. Mulvahill said he considered Adams’ proper remorse, lack of prior criminal history and efforts to address mental health concerns when determining Adams’ sentence.
