CLARENDON, Texas (KFDA) - First-year head coach Jeff Caffey and Clarendon football are ready for the 2025 season.

After a brief stint out of the Panhandle, coach Caffey is back and ready to lead the Broncos football team.

“First chance I got to come back was here,” says Caffey. “I needed to get back to what I grew up in.”

The ideas of family and football go hand in hand, and that sentiment couldn’t be more true for the Caffey’s.

“I’ve got my hero on staff, my dad, Stan Caffey... it just doesn’t get better than that,” says Caffey.

“We’ve got three generations of that out on the field with my son here.”

The excitement for coach Caffey in Clarendon goes both ways between the coaches and the players.
