NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) - It had been over 1,000 days since the NSU Demons celebrated a win, but all of that changed Thursday night against Alcorn State.
From the first play, it was clear the Demons had come out ready to start the 2025 season off right. NSU scored on their opening drive, thanks to a 51-yard run by Myion Hicks, followed by a TD pass from Abram Johnston to a wide-open Ty Moore.
The Northwestern State Demons would break their 20 game losing streak beating the Alcorn State Braves 20-10.
