Four kids and one adult were taken to area hospitals after a chain-reaction crash that started as a police chase, according to law enforcement.

The crash happened just before 5 p.m. on Yale near the North Loop, according to Pct. 1 Constable Al Rosen.

A METRO bus was hit as the crash came to an end, Rosen said. Ten people were on the bus at the time. The suspect is now in custody, but fled the area on foot before being captured, Rosen said.
