SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The FDA announced that only people 65 and older, or 6 months through 64 years of age with at least one underlying health condition are now the only group of people recommended to get the COVID-19 vaccination.
The FDA also announced there was an updated version of the vaccine that will better protect individuals from the virus.
“I couldn’t be more pleased to announce that as of today, the covid vaccine for healthy children and healthy pregnant women have been removed from the CDC recommended immunization schedule,” said Robert F. Kennedy JR.
