BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The SEC announced this week that there will be climate-controlled sideline benches at all 16 SEC stadiums this fall.

The conference says each SEC school will feature up to six Dragon Seat benches, a climate-controlled bench system, and six Dragon ShadER sunshades on both the home and visiting sidelines for all home games, select neutral-site games, and the SEC championship game.

SEC Director of Championships Kory Dahlen says the addition of the Dragon Seats ensures high quality technology and overall performance.

“The SEC is committed to providing our student-athletes with the very best resources on game day. By ensuring every program has access to consistent, state-of-the-art sideline technology, we are enhancing both player safety and overall performance.
