California Gov. Gavin Newsom is announcing a task force to remove unhoused encampments and help connect people with services and shelter.

The effort includes cities like Oakland and San Francisco near highways.

This week an agreement was reached with San Francisco and Caltrans the city said aims to keep streets clean and address litter, as well as encampments.
