EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The LST 325 will be bringing along Chris Underwood for their trip to St Louis next week. The Cold Winter author will be join the crew to help promote his upcoming book "Battle of Niagara Falls"

The new book is the fourth in the series. Taking place on the LST 325, Underwood says that he will pull inspiration from his time on the ship to add personal anecdotes to the story. When he isn't writing he will actually be apart of the crew on the lock and dock team.

Starting as a computer programmer in Evansville, Underwood says that writing has always been his passion and he has always had love for the ship. Last May he was apart of the forty volunteers that helped scrape and repaint the top deck of the LST 325.
