DALLAS — Fans of Dallas' own Queen of Neo Soul, Erykah Badu, will have to wait a bit longer for her first new album in 15 years.

Badu announced on social media that her joint album with collaborator The Alchemist, which was set to be released Aug. 29 , would not be released at midnight Friday.

"No aug 29 It’s @alanthechemist fault 😃," Badu wrote in an Instagram message Thursday night.

It's unclear when the album will be released. Consequence previously reported it will be named "Abi & Alan" to pay homage to the artists' given names.
