Auburn football started its season open with Baylor a little slow, but new quarterback Jackson Arnold put the Tigers in the game.

He scored Auburn’s first touchdown of the 2025 season on a 24-yard run, giving the Tigers a 7-3 lead. The run came on a delayed RPO that looked to be designed for the quarterback.

That came after Auburn went three-and-out on its first drive, but responded with a 12-play, 96-yard drive to take the lead.

The touchdown run came after Arnold saved the drive earlier with a nine-yard scramble on a third-and-7.

Auburn’s matchup with Baylor is televised on FOX.
