PASCO, Wash. – Pasco police have announced the arrest of a 30-year-old in connection with a homicide that occurred on July 23. This marks the second arrest in the case.

Officers responded to a Pasco home on July 23, after receiving reports of a man shooting at a woman. Upon arrival, they found the woman dead at the scene.

The Franklin County coroner determined that her death was caused by multiple gunshot wounds.

Following the incident, Pasco police issued an arrest warrant for second-degree murder.

With assistance from state and federal law enforcement, they tracked the suspect to Oregon and took him into custody two days later.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
