PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University fans are already tailgating across from Martin Stadium as the Cougars prepare to kick off their football season against Idaho Saturday night.
The matchup marks the 93rd time these schools have played each other, and fans are excited to continue the rivalry.
In anticipation of limited hotel space, WSU set up nearly 100 extra spots available for camping on the Mooberry Track and Grimes Field for this year's home opener.
The program is called "Camping with the Cougs," and the university says it will have more details on other games where those extra spots will be available soon.
The tailgating scene includes fans with decades of experience. One group of fans has been tailgating at the location for 50 years. They say there's much more to do outs
