A victim sustained injuries to his head, neck, and face after being cut with a sharp, bladed weapon in midtown Kingston, police say.

The alleged perpetrator is Deandre D. Green, a 27-year-old resident of Kingston. He was arrested by the City of Kingston Police Department on August 22 and faces multiple felony charges, including two counts of first-degree assault with intent to disfigure and to cause serious physical injury, second-degree assault with intent and injury caused by a weapon, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon with a prior conviction.

Around 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 13, Green allegedly attacked a 19-year-old male with a bladed weapon. The unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital and received treatment for his wounds. The assault reportedly happened on Broadway
