Aedan Titus, 17, pled guilty to aggravated battery for his role in a shooting on Pennsylvania Avenue in October 2024, according to Prosecutor Noah Schafer. Titus, charged as an adult, admitted to the incident involving codefendants Christopher Zarate, 23, and Edward Cook, 20.
Titus, Zarate, and Cook were drinking at Cook's mother's home in Logansport before heading to South Pennsylvania Avenue to confront a juvenile over a dispute. Surveillance footage captured their journey.
When they reached the residence, Titus had a firearm. The intended target's mother answered the door and began calling the police. Titus fired the revolver three times, hitting the woman in the leg and causing a serious injury.
