SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Look for scattered showers and thunderstorms basically on Sunday and Monday. It won’t be a washout but there will be times that we could see some heavy rain but it shouldn’t be around all that long.

Saturday looks to be nice with just a chance for a few coastal storms but most will be inland during the afternoon and evening. Otherwise look for mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.

Sunday a weak piece of energy moves in bringing a better chance for a few scattered showers and thunderstorms but once again most of it should be well inland. We could see some coastal storms scattered about on Sunday morning through the early afternoon.
