St. John's football falls in season opener, but takes steps in right direction

Despite not getting the desired result, St. John’s Catholic Prep football coach Tyree Spinner considered this a step in the right direction.

The defense, which was gashed week after week last season to the tune of 41 points per game, seemed to be much improved, holding visiting Potomac School in check for most of the game.
