The Chicago Cubs are in the hunt for the postseason with a World Series on their minds.
But before they get there, they could look to add some pitching to their depleted bullpen and starting rotation. The Cubs are in a perfect position to add somebody in the coming days.
Jordan Campbell of Cubbies Crib recently urged the Cubs to pursue free agent pitcher Walker Buehler after he was released by the Boston Red Sox on Friday.
"Suddenly, Buehler finds himself a free agent right before the deadline for postseason roster eligibility. Buehler must be signed by another team before September 1 if he is to be eligible to pitch for his new team in the postseason," Campbell wrote.
