ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — On Friday, the city of Rochester celebrated five local photographers at the second annual 'How We Roc' exhibition at the City Hall Link Gallery.

The 'How We Roc' program aims to capture the beauty, vibrancy, and diversity of Rochester while highlighting the work of artists who reflect these values. Each year, the program provides selected photographers with media access to city-sponsored events, the opportunity to curate their own exhibit, and a $1,500 stipend.

"Just being handed a press pass to all of these events was just like permission to go play and to do things I wouldn't normally have the time or the opportunity to do," said Rochester photographer Meg Tyo.
