JOHNSTON CITY — New year, new head coach, but same Johnston City Indians as they torched Carmi-White County for 397 rushing yards in a 46-8 running-clock victory Friday night at Ralph Davison Field.

Senior running back Jace Weaver led the way with 165 yards on the ground and two touchdowns, one being a 56-yarder on the first play of Johnston City’s second drive of the game to make it a two-touchdown game at 16-0 after the two-point conversion.
