Three of the four top signed Lethbridge Hurricane prospects from the 2024 WHL draft talked about their rookie camp experience from the last two days at VisitLethbridge.com Arena.

Those players are forwards Cohen Pentney and Tyden Lafournaise and defenceman Reid Soper, who were all a part of large the 2009-born group at rookie camp.

“ We have one of the best 09 groups in the league,” said Pentney.

“They’re all great people and I’m really happy to be a part of such a big opportunity for Lethbridge.

Pentney’ wanted to highlight his playmaking abilities, show positivity and be uplifting to his fellow teammates.

“I wanna play good on the ice but I also want to be a good person off the ice,” said Pentney.
