BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) - Buckle up for another busy holiday weekend! Not only is it Labor Day, but the first big weekend of college football kicks off, too.

Every year, Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest holidays for travel in the entire nation. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency tells News 5 their troopers are ready for the rush with increased patrols on the roads, the water, and even by air.

"We will have enhanced patrols, so you will see more troopers out this weekend in an effort to reduce crashes and then ultimately save lives," Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Joshua Thompson said.
