This week historic aircraft will take to the skies above Southport as the annual air show returns . It all kicks off on Saturday, August 30.
Spectators can get the chance to see iconic planes such as the Rolls Royce Spitfire and the RAF Typhoon. However this year the Red Arrows will not be appearing.
But visitors are in for a treat this year with the A- 26 Invader and the L-39 Albatross both flying over the Sefton Coast. There will also be breathtaking displays by Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers and the Falcons Parachute Display Team.
On the ground at the Military Village located on Marine Drive, people can get up close to military equipment displayed from the Armed Forces and can even board a Replica Chinook Helicopter.
