During a 27-20 loss Friday to Georgia Tech, the Buffs were certainly gritty but simply weren’t good enough.
They fell prey to a nearly universal truth of football in 2025.
When the outcome’s in doubt during the fourth quarter, bet on the team with the superior quarterback.
And Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King, whose 45-yard bolt to the end zone with 67 seconds before the final gun clinched the victory, was clearly better than Kaidon Salter, his CU counterpart.
