Electricity-hungry data centers are powering the boom in artificial intelligence but driving up the price of electricity, which spiked 5.5 percent over the past year. The solution is not to cut living standards or to give up America’s aspirations for AI dominance, but to embrace an “all of the above” energy strategy.

Yet the administration in which he is serving is mounting a self-defeating crusade against industries the president does not like.
