(KRON) -- Friday night lights are back on in the East Bay, but with some unexpected changes.

Football teams at Mount Diablo High School can't play at their own field after a fire destroyed it last week. But the community made sure their season opened without a hitch.

A cheer and a touchdown are what the Mount Diablo Red Devils are familiar with.

However, what's not familiar is that they are playing what was supposed to be their first home game of the season at Concord High School.
