MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The University of South Alabama Jaguars are hitting the football field Saturday night.

They will kick off their season at home in the Hancock Whitney Stadium against the Morgan State Bears.

This will be the second year for Head Coach Major Applewhite.

Redshirt Junior Bishop Davenport will officially take over as the starting quarterback.

Kick off is set for 6 p.m.
