The opening week of high school football season brought upon some early highlights throughout the District 6-6A gridiron, including an early statement by Prosper and a long-awaited outcome for Plano West.

Elsewhere in the conference, McKinney Boyd rang in the Stu Johnson era in commanding fashion, while Allen and Prosper Rock Hill also found the win column to kick off their respective seasons.
