The suspect in the Aug. 25 fatal shooting of Darrin E. Johnson, 31, has been arrested. Steven S. Boykin, 42, was arrested Friday afternoon around 12:30 p.m. at a residence in the 80 block of East Wells Street, which is in the southeast part of Roswell. Officers arrested Boykin without incident.

The warrant, obtained as a result of the investigation by the Roswell Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division, was issued by a judge Monday around 6 p.m. and charges Boykin with three felonies: second-degree murder, felon in possession of a firearm, and tampering with evidence.
