WHITTIER — La Serna left no doubt on Friday night with a 28-0 victory at Schurr.
The Lancers overcome an enthusiastic home crowd by not giving the Spartans much to cheer about, limiting the Spartans to just 72 yards total offense.
On the flip side, the Lancers offense did more than enough.
Junior quarterback Grady Long finished with 139 yards and a touchdown, though he also had two interceptions.
Lancers receiver Etogwara Onyenegecha had a busy night, finishing with 79 receiving yards and a touchdown and running back Daniel Moreno scored two touchdowns and finished with 21 yards.
After a tough loss in San Diego last week, La Serna improved to 1-1 while Schurr dropped to 0-2.
